How we select, rank, and review credit cards — and how we handle conflicts of interest.

How we select cards

We include every major US credit card regardless of whether we have an affiliate relationship with the issuer. Our database currently covers 76 cards from all major issuers including Chase, American Express, Capital One, Citi, Bank of America, Discover, Wells Fargo, and others. If a widely-available card is missing, let us know and we will add it.

How we rank them

Rankings are algorithm-driven based on your spending. When you enter your monthly spending by category, our scoring engine calculates the net annual value of every card — reward earnings minus annual fees, with sign-up bonuses amortized over 24 months. The card that earns you the most ranks first. There is no manual override, no "editor's pick" boost, and no way for an issuer to pay for a higher ranking.

Conflicts of interest

We earn affiliate commissions when you apply for a card through our links and are approved. This is how the site is funded. However, our rankings are commission-independent. The scoring algorithm has no access to commission data — it does not know which cards pay us more. Cards with no affiliate relationship are ranked alongside cards that do, using the same math.

Review and update cadence

Card data is verified monthly against issuer websites. Annual fees, reward rates, sign-up bonuses, and key benefits are checked and updated as offers change. Our last full review of all card data was completed in April 2026. If an offer has changed since our last review, the issuer's site is always the authoritative source.

How to report errors

If you spot incorrect card data — a wrong annual fee, outdated bonus, or missing benefit — email hello@rollsrewards.com with the card name and what looks wrong. We investigate every report within 48 hours and update our data if a correction is warranted.

Editorial team

RollsRewards is built and maintained by the RollsRewards team. All card data is independently verified against issuer public terms. No issuer has reviewed, approved, or endorsed any content on this site.
